We beat off stiff competition to secure a prestigious £200,000 contract with the NHS. Following a consultation period, where Green Cloud Hosting’s safety and security protocols were thoroughly tested, we were selected to provide encrypted online data backup services to more than 400 GP surgeries supported by the NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW).

The NHS partnership has been an exciting step for Green Cloud Hosting. Managing Director Kamran Maqbool presented the winning bid that came out on top. In total, 91 competing providers pitched for the contract to provide a fully managed online backup and disaster recovery solution, fully encrypted for each of the 400+ physical servers.

The contract, which is open ended, has opened the doors for further partnerships with large public sector organisations.
